About Us

The Mandel JCC serves as a gathering place for the entire Cleveland community  We provide opportunities for social inclusion and interaction, children’s and senior services, and sports, leisure and culture all within a vibrant Jewish setting. The tapestry of Jewish life in Cleveland is richer and more relevant by The Mandle JCC’s presence. We are a nonprofit organization that serves and welcomes the entire community.

From our roots in the Council Educational Alliance founded in 1889, through the emergence as a Jewish Community Center in 1948, to the present time, The Mandel JCC has played a vital role in building a strong and cohesive community in Cleveland. An immeasurable number of families and individuals, both young and old, have been enriched and touched by Mandel JCC programs and services.  

 

Simply put, the goal of The Mandel JCC is to become a central gathering place where affiliated and unaffiliated Jewish families and individuals can gather and connect for socialization, recreation and Jewish learning in a dynamic and welcoming environment; a place that reflects the multiplicity of the Cleveland community and encourages full participation.
