Melvin S. Krasnow Infant Swim Program, 6-36months
Parents teach infants through games, songs and other activities. Swim diaper and rubber pants required

Youth Aquatics
Preschool IA, 3-5 years old
Instruction includes water adjustment skills, bubbles, kicking, submerging face, floating, and beginning to coordinate swim strokes. This is a transition level to teach the child to be more comfortable in the water and to begin to move in the water without the aid of the instructor. They will be learning to use equipment in place of "hands on" instruction.

Children must have already mastered the following: Comfortable with independent bobs focusing on breathing technique, floating on front & back with equipment. Child must be familiar with arm and hand movements for treading water. Combine arm and leg action on front and back progressing forward at least 10 feet with assistance. Child must understand basic water safety skills.
