Miri is a twice-widowed El Al flight attendant with a well-regulated existence. Her life is suddenly turned upside down by an abandoned Chinese boy whose migrant worker mother has disappeared. The film is a touching comic-drama in which two human beings – as different from each other as Tel Aviv and Beijing – accompany each other on a captivating journey. Winner of the 2007 Israeli Film Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress; Winner – Grand Prix of the Jury, Montreal World Film Festival.
