COMMUNITY INVITED TO EXPLORE MANDEL JCC DURING FAMILY FUN DAY JANUARY 7, 2007
All special events, fitness and recreational facilities free; sign up for a new membership and receive an immediate $100 discount.
 
(Beachwood, Oh) December 4, 2006… Kick the post-holiday blues with activities for the entire family – from seniors to children, single or married. All activities, scheduled from 11 am to 4 pm, will take place indoors and parking is free.
 
Special events include an exotic interactive animal presentation from Akron Zoo; clowns, balloons and open play for children; kids’ yoga, boot camp, wall climbing and a giant slide. Food is available for purchase at the Subway at Mandel JCC – the only Kosher Subway in North America.
 
Chair massages, health screening, fitness assessments, swimming in the JCC indoor, heated pool, and a full range of group exercise classes will be available all day – along with guided tours of the entire facility. All guests are invited to try the JCC Visual Fitness Planner™ that assists users to customize a fitness/exercise routine to help achieve fitness goals.
 
Guests are also invited to meet staff and discuss pre-school, daycare and after-school programs at the JCC, as well as information about Anisfield Day Camp and Camp Wise overnight summer camp. In addition, guests can register to win a one year family membership, and a free week of camp.
