Kate Pophal
Kate is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Council of Exercise (ACE), developing fitness programs with a heavy emphasis on core strength and coaching proper form and posture. She has dedicated her life to improving the lives of others by providing a progressive training routine that you will find unique and challenging for your body and mind. She has over 20 years of personal experience with strength training and marathons (multiple Boston Marathon qualifier) ½ marathons, 10k/5ks, triathlons and biathlons. She was also AAU/USS nationally ranked in various swimming events.
When asked about working at The Mandel JCC, she said, ‘I would like to share my training experience with athletes and introduce beginners to the joy and satisfaction gained by consistent running and/or strength training. I believe that exercise is an important component of a successful life.’
